	Mikongo is located in the Lopé national park, at the heart of Gabon, Central Africa.


	The Lopé national park encompasses approximately 5000km² of rainforest and savannah mosaic


	The Mikongo Project is associated with and supported by ECOFAC, The European Commission, and the Direction de la Faune et Chasse (Gabon).
